Turban & A Sweater Set
Can I share something with y'all?
My name is Sommar and I am addicted to the Chestnut Praline Latte at Starbucks.
There I said it!
I really have my cousin to blame for this. She knows who she is! Luckily for me this flavor only comes out during the holidays. Let's thank sweet baby Jesus for the little things because if I had access to this drink all year round The Mister would be hiding my bank card. Y'all know a Starbucks addiction is not the most economical one!
The other thing(s) I am addicted to this season are 2 piece matching sets and turbans.
Let me tell y'all, I now understand why parents buy their children 2 piece matching sets from their favorite kids clothing store.
- First of all, you don't have to put any thought in to what top will go with the bottom and what bottom will go with the top. That alone is a major key - DJ Khaled voice.
- Secondly, you save time getting dressed. You instantly know what outfit you are wearing.
- Third, you can wear the pieces with other pieces in your wardrobe to create more outfits. It's what I like to call a 2for. That's right, a 2 for 1 deal!
This set is super soft and comfy yet hugs your curves and the skirt is lined which is great. I paired it with my faux fur vest & brown booties which I first worn here. If I had it my way I wouldn't wear a coat for the rest of the year so I will layer until I can not layer no more. In regards to the turban I will have to admit that I wasn't a big fan of the trend when it first came out. However, when I saw one of my fav bloggers, Kéla Walker of Kéla's Kloset rock her turban it made me say, hmmm let me try one. Goes to show you, be open & let others inspire you to try something you normally wouldn't have. Now if I can just find me one in a metallic gold or silver.
